Live upgrade
Hi,
I need your help ,
I am doing live upgrade and I am getting errors..
I will explain what i am doing ..
we do have two bootablle devices ..primary is /dev/md/dsk/d0 and secondary is /dev/md/dsk/d1 and we are trying to do the live upgrade on d1 ..
# lucreate -c "Solaris_8" -m /:/dev/md/dsk/d1:ufs,mirro r -m /:/dev/dsk/ c1t0d0s6:attach -n "Solaris_9"
Discovering physical storage devices
Discovering logical storage devices
Cross referencing storage devices with boot environment configurations
Determining types of file systems supported
Validating file system requests
ERROR: option <mirror> metadevice <d1> already exists: </dev/md/dsk/d1>
ERROR: cannot validate file system </> option <mirror> devices </dev/md/dsk/d1>
ERROR: metadevice file systems configuration is not valid
ERROR: cannot create new boot environment using file systems as configured
ERROR: please review all file system configuration options
ERROR: cannot create new boot environment using options provided
I tried differrnt commands but it didn't work for me .. please help me regarding this ...if you give me command that would be great
