Attempt to un-install ASP failed with error code 0x80070643. Fatal error during installation

Windows Server 2008 Standard 64 bit, IIS 7

We're trying uninstall ASP (using Server Manager) and getting this error msg.  Anyone know what the scoop is on it?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

reza rad - I don't know what the exact problem is, something to do with dotnetnuke, a colleague of mine is having an issue, and want's to uninstall and reinstall ASP.  He's out until Monday, he's a developer, I'm a sys admin.

servoadmin - no, I'd not tried removing it from the registry, and it is ASP.

I've found several articles related to the error code.  It's a generic code thrown by the Windows Installer when it encounters an error.  Typically it doesn't give you much information, but you can enable logging and capture more detail according to this link.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/958052.  I've not done this yet, but intend to give it go today.

My bad, I forgot to mention that these servers are setup with NLB and use a shared configuration.  Anyone have a comment that may help?  I'm intending on undoing the shared configuration and give it a go.

Once I disabled the Shared Configuration, I was able to remove ASP.
