SQL 2005 Server and SQL 2008 Client

We have recently upgraded some of our SQL servers to 2008.  With that, most of the clients need to be upgraded.  W ehave run into a problem.  On a XP desktop with 2008 client, we are unable to modify a Stored Procedure (or create a new one) on a SQL 2005 Server. It gives the below error.  We are able to creat and modify a SP on a Windows 7 desktop with the same server.  Any ideas.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Transact SQL Debugger is a new component introduced in SQL Server 2008 for 2008 database engine and hence it will not work with SQL Server 2005 or 2000 databases or objects..

We’d all like to think our company’s data is well protected, but when you ask IT professionals they admit the data probably is not as safe as it could be.

As myself and aneesh explained earlier, you can't debug a sp of SQL Server 2005 edition in SQL Server 2008 SSMS..
You can only debug a procedure in SQL Server 2008 database only..

If you want to really debug SQL Server 2005 stored procedures then you can use some third party tools like Apex SQL Debug here:
