email synchronization issues with BlackBerry Device

We are running Blackberry Professional Software for Microsoft Exchange (Version 4.1.4 bundle 183) on SBS 2003 server
Currently we only have 1 user account for testing.
User is using blackberry 9000 bold device having synchronization issues with BB Device

-Whether  user opens emails on laptop while in outlook or whether open via webmail on any pc, email on the BlackBerry inbox remains bold as if there were unopened … then user has to open each of the email manually on the BB Device to non-bold them.

- Also turns out that some messages that user delete from inbox in outlook are still on the BB Device, some bold and some non-bold but still in inbox on BB device BUT not in inbox in outlook.

All settings on Server look OK. Do we need to change or check any specific settings on BPS?How can we fix this sync issue?

Reconcile option on BB device is on, we tried to manually reconcile from Device but didn’t help.
Is there any way on BPS we can set sync time between BB device and Server?

that's wierd never had that happen, did you go through enterprise activation on the blackberry?

is the calendar and contacts synchronising?

Enterprise activation was done few months ago and was successfully completed

We migrate server to VM environment (ESXi), after migration, we successfully run enterprise activation, we are having this issue after that.
If I go to BPS Manager on server and click on refresh button, it sometimes updates email read/unread status on BB device.
Not sure if there is any option on BPS that we can change to make server to communicate say ever 1 mins

can you make a new contact or calendar entry on the BB and see if it syncs back to exchange?

you shouldn't have to make any changed in BPS the default settings should basically do it all correctly.

you may have comms issues in your VM environment, so that the BPS is not communicating reliably with the BB servers

Another thing I'd try is firmware upgrade of the BB, then also possibly wipe the device and redo activation from scratch.

What I found that reconcile is happening between BB & Server however time between 2 reconcile is too much, is there any way to change timing on BB server to communicate with BB device?

doubt if this can be changed.its around 5-20 minutes default.a manual reconcile from the device might be the only option.i guess all that depends on how many devices you have on the network that are trying to do a reconcile.
