Hi, I have a problem with clamav-0.95.2 on linux OS, I have use clamav with freshclam/postfix/amavisd-new and in log file I have: 
 
Apr 16 11:30:51 mail amavis[2321]: (02321-02) ClamAV-clamd av-scanner FAILED: Too many retries to talk to /tmp/clamd (Can't connect to UNIX socket /tmp/clamd: No such file or directory) at (eval 74) line 257. 
 
and on boot I have: 
 
clamd: /bin/bash: line 1 File size limit exceeded /tmp/clamd 
 
in /etc/init.d/clamd I have: 
ulimit -f 30000 
 
I can add that I have made upgrade from 0.92.1 to 0.95.2 on three mail server and on all mail server I have the same problem about:

Problem with clamav socket

A Linux distribution is an operating system made as a software collection based on the Linux kernel and, often, on a package management system and are available for a variety of systems. Linux Distributions

Within Internet message handling services (MHS), a message transfer agent or mail transfer agent (MTA) or mail relay is software that transfers electronic mail messages from one computer to another using a client–server application architecture. A MTA implements both the client (sending) and server (receiving) portions of the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). The terms mail server, mail exchanger, and MX host may also refer to a computer performing the MTA function. The Domain Name System (DNS) associates a mail server to a domain with mail exchanger (MX) resource records containing the domain name of a host providing MTA services.
