Exchange 2007/ Outlook 2007: Meeting rooms

Hi guys,

Have created two meeting rooms as resources everything works fine for far. What I want is these messages to pop up/notification when is already book. Like this below

The resources for the meeting were successfully booked.

Also, if the room is fullled booked how do I config it to send this notification like... room " is already booked fo rthe specified time. You must use another time or find another resource.

At the moment they are booked at the same time with no pop-up message saying it has already been booked.

Thanks for helping

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Following is the command for customizing messages;

Set-MailboxCalendarSettings -Id ResourceMailbox01 -AddAdditionalResponse:$true -AdditionalResponse:<text>

As an example:

Set-MailboxCalendarSettings -Identity "ResourceMailbox01" -AddAdditionalResponse:"<font color-red> Add your response</font

I don't think this is what am looking for i have gone through that link before. However, thanks for helping  I have done all the above.

All i want is when the room is booked and someone want to book it at the same time to reject it with the following message

...room " is already booked fo rthe specified time. You  must use another time or find another resource.

Also, when the room is booked for users to have a confirmation like (The resources for the meeting were successfully  booked).

Thanks

if you refer to the second link i posted - near the bottom of the page there is a section "Configuring Resource Privacy Options and Response Message"  this tells you where to modify the message that is displayed. on booking a resource.

Not exactly have read through before sending my posting.

Thanks

OK - let me just clarify a little,

when someone books a resource using their own calendar and adding the resource to the attendees list as a resource, are you implying that they get no notification at all or are you wanting to change what the notification says?
bkebbayAuthor Commented:
Yes, thats exactly what I am saying. At the moment they are not getting any notification at all.

When they book a meeting they should get notification(The resources for the meeting were successfully   booked)

when the room is fully booked they should get notifcation also like (..room " is already booked for the specified time. You  must use
another time or find another resource)

OK, sorry......

have a look at this thread:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvradmin/thread/2fc784c8-d2ef-4438-96e1-08918f5c0e12

in the above article/thread they mention a few options to check in your resource mailbox and they also mention enabling public folders that resolved their similar issue.

Was there any other updates applied to the Exchange server?
