Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are you using multipathd?

multipath -l

hi jesper,

yes we are using ...multipath .... is it safe to run this command ..

thanx....
Jan SpringerCommented:
Yes.  The "-l" (ell) is a request for list of paths and the data.  I use this to verify that all paths are present.

Use INQ( This is free tool from EMC) to list LUN details or you can use HBA utility to list LUNs

1) Qlogic - SANSurfer/SANSurferCLI
2) Emulex - HBAAnywhere/LPUTIL

There is separate qlogic lun script for LINUX. Search on qlogic site.,.

Thanks,
