Hi!

How do I create a trigger that will take a insert value and add the value 30.0 to it?

I have 3 columns
Id, TestName TestValue
I like to create a trigger that will check if the TestName is "10" then it will add 30 to the TestValue,
So I If insert "10", 350 I like the value in the DB to be "10" and 380.

this should do
CREATE TRIGGER trg_demo
  ON your_table
 FOR INSERT
AS
BEGIN
  UPDATE t
     SET TestValue = i.TestValue + 30
   FROM yourtable t
   JOIN INSERTED i
     ON i.ID = t.ID
   WHERE i.TestName = 10
END
