How to open two instances of Outlook 2003?

I have two email ids and so two profiles - one for my company and one for client. I have configured the respective profiles and mailboxes on my desktop. When I open one profile and click Outlook Icon again, it opens the same opened one, instead of asking for profile selection. That is, I cannot open and access both outlooks at a time. I need to exit the current and open a new instance and select the other profile for this. Let me know if there is any way if I can open outlook again and view both profiles. If so, please give me the instructions. Thanks in advance...

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Good Morning,

Unfortunately, you cannot open 2 instances of Outlook with different profiles.

Take care,

As an addition, here's a link to an application you can obtain to run multiple instances of profiles: http://lifehacker.com/5060667/extraoutlook-runs-two-instances-of-outlook.

More information: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/10/10/download-extraoutlook-v12-to-simultaneously-open-two-instances-of-microsoft-outlook-in-windows-pc/.

Note: I have not tested or tried this application, so cannot vouch for it's effectiveness or stability.

Take care,
LJ

I don't think you can have two profiles at once unless you close Outlook and point to the other profile each time.  Please read more about it here:

Good Luck.
