How to redirect the java console out put to log file

I have an application , it is launched using Java web start / jnlp file ,

But all the exceptions and all displaying on Java console , i want to redirect this out put to a log file,
can any body suggest ,how to do it or please provide some example ?

you need to setup the System out and error stream as the first line in your main method which is pointing to another file!
Really you should use proper internal logging. Use logback (was log4j)

ok,I resolved this , i just enabled the logging on java console manullay , it will create trace files so this helps me to write the log on cline t m/c
