My C# WinForms program needs an ICO file

If I am correct, a program icon is 32X32. Is that true?

And one icon is enough for a Windows program, right?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi newbieweb;

There are 4 sizes that can be create but only three should be create one if the sizes is used by the system.

Windows icons sizes : 48 × 48, 32 × 32, System Only size 24 × 24, and 16 × 16 pixels.

You should create the 48 × 48, 32 × 32 and 16 × 16 pixels because you will not know what screen resolution and color depth your users will have there displays set to.
