Disk Group best practice for CX4-40

I'm trying to find whats the best practice to configure 4 disk groups dedicated to an Exchange 2007 environment.  I've already obtained the metrics and used the Exchange MBX calculator to determine the number of disk and LUNS required.  Can someone advise which of these scenarios is best for a CX4-40?

Back Ground:
Total storage available:
45 HDD across 3 shelves

Disk Group 1:
RAID 10
4 HDD
Production CCR Exchange logs

Disk Group 2:
RAID 10
4 HDD
Replica CCR Exchange logs

Disk Group 3:
RAID 10
16 HDD
Production CCR Exchange database

Disk Group 4:
RAID 10
16 HDD
Replica CCR Exchange database

Thank you.

They are equivalent, however performance will not necessarily be the same.  Your CX4 is in a shared environment, so your I/O bandwidth for any given shelf is a function of what the other people are doing on HDDs that share the the same I/O channels for any given shelf.   The best way to get optimal performance is to allocate disks based on how much existing traffic there is on the EMC, and provision your RAID10 on shelfs/controllers that has the least amount of load.
