Exchange Server 2010 Mailbox Role

Hi All,

I am installing Exchange 2010 Mailbox Server role on its own server. Windows Server 2008 R2. I have my CAS/HUB server on another server already installed. When I go to install the Mailbox role on the other server, I get an error saying that it needs IIS installed and a warning saying there is no Host (A) record for 127.0.0.1.

This is not a DNS or IIS server, does it have to be an IIS server? Or which roles in particular does the Mailbox server role need from IIS?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
