sync sqlserver from one server to another

sql server 2000 A has a number of databases, nightly maintenance plan creates a backup snapshot file and backupexec stores the backup files to tape later.

sql server 2000 B has 1 database, isn't even part of the domain, has no backup device.

would it be a good idea and easy to set up to sync the database from sql server b to sql server a so it will be taken in the rest of the backup flow ?
how do i sync the data between the 2 sql servers ? (step-by-step)

If your database size would be very less, then just take a full backup, copy the back file and restore it in the first server to get it done..

Else, try taking a Transactional log backup which would be less in size and easy for you to copy..

it should be a continuous backup process, not a one time backup and restore.
both servers stay.

Then try using Transactional Log shipping at regular intervals
or

Configure Transactional Replication across those servers if you update it real time..

real time is not needed.

Yes, that is what I mentioned earlier..
Since you mentioned that it should not as a one time backup and restore, I mentioned the other approaches..

Then you can configure Transactional Replication between those two servers and steps to configure it here:
