Win 7 Pro / VS2008 dev / MSSQL2008 dev

Would someone please advise me on the combined use of
Win 7 Pro / VS2008 dev / MSSQL2008 dev
for 3.5/QL2008 development with SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS on a Core i3 laptop (4GB RAM & 320Gb HD 7200rtm)?

Since you have 4 GB RAM, I would recommend you to go with 64 bit Win 7 with VS 2008 and SQL Server 2008 everything in 64 bit editions.

Having 32 bit versions would give somewhat reduced performance compared to 64 bit versions and hence I would recommend all 64 bit editions..

I too have the same set of configuration in one of my Laptop and works fine..
And let me know what pointers are you exactly looking at so that I can guide you accordingly.

Please elucidate on how to decide on 32 bit or 64 bit when installing Win 7 Pro / VS2008 dev / MSSQL2008 dev on a new dev laptop. Should all be installed with 64 bit, all 32 bit or a combination of both. If installing with a combination, how could the combination be determined? Thanks.
