Web Hosting Server with Mailenable - Outlook Secure Autoconfiguration.

I run a web hosting and email server with mailenable on a Windows 2008 server.  I'm looking for a way to make sure that my clients with outlook 2007 can pick up the configuration settings correctly.  I'm not exactly sure how Outlook 2007 searches for the correct information or if it's even possible to manipulate the settings via DNS or something?  If anyone could shed some light, i'd really appreciate it.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are you running Exchange as your mail server?

No, mailenable...

basically i want   clientdomain.com to pick up "mail.mydomain.net" since "mail.mydomain.net" has the SSL key for secure pop and smtp.

I'm not sure that pop3 mail servers like mailenable support autodiscover
But here is a link to article that fully describes the autodiscover process

So outlook auto discover service is pretty much just for exchange then, huh...  otherwise it pulls from it's common list of pre-defined searches?

You probably want to talk with the Mailenable folks about whether they fully support Autodiscover.    I just tried autodiscover on my POP3 account with my ISP (Charter Cable) and it's not supported there
There certainly are features within Exchange which support it.
But all my reading indicates that Autodiscover requires certificate availability and POP3 is usually not ported over SSL
