Restore SBS 2003 from NTBackup after replacing drives

I had two drives go out on my server and I need to restore my server from my NTBackup that I have.  I have read through some of the questions and post but I had a question about can I change the drive sizes.  I was thinking about replacing all 8 drives on my Dell PowerEdge 2900 with bigger but same size drives and then doing the restore.  Can you do this?  Also do you have to reinstall the OS before you can do the restore or can you do it from the Utility that I have been reading about.

Hi,

You can restore to the bigger size drives.

Refer this article:

Hope this helps,

Shree,
Thanks for the info...what about reloading the OS do you have to do it before you can reload the backup?

yes you do...you need to just load the OS (up to whatever service pack you had on there) but do not do the integrated setup for SBS...then use NT backup to restore
