Cannot take ownership of files/folders, sbs 2003.

I'm trying to transfer files from an old sbs2003 server to a new one.  Problem is, I can't seem to take ownership of a few folders.  The My Music and My Pictures folder in one of the users My Documents folder.

When I try and take ownership I get an error that says:

An error occurred applying security information to:
D:\users shared folders\etc...
there is not enough space on the disk

But there is 150GB free on the disk.

Please help.

Thanks

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You have quotas enabled and the account your trying to assign ownership to has used the allotted quota.  Either increase the quota for that user or disable it for JUST THAT USER.

My solution was to temporarily disable "Deny disk space to users exceeding quota limit" while I took ownership of the files.
