I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

just read some articles , the code you posted is for flash 8 , and for flash 8 we need to install some Remoting component .  i am using Dreamweaver CS3 . still i have to install that Remoting component , ?

the code in my first post works fine , as AS3 , and  there is no class imported there

its such a shame that there is no much help available with ZendAmf + AS2.0 so , i shifted to AmfPhp + AS 2.0 (also  ther is no help on this topic with CS3)

just found this
http://blog.vixiom.com/2007/04/17/actionscript-20-flash-remoting-with-flash-cs3/

so i copied the mx folder in my work folder and it seems that there are no errors now .
i hope it will work with AmfPHP ,
