What is the size of the data file and what is the size of the Transaction Log?

My msdb is 11GB, I tried to do a backup but I got &quot;Time-out occurred while waiting for buffer latch type 3 for page (1:708), database ID 4.&quot; , I tried to shrink the log file I received the same timeout,I checked the execution time out and it's set to 0. I tried to do a dbcc checkdb on the msdb but I got the same timeout. What can I do with this msdb to reduce the size and get it working properly.
