cisco mds cancel zone changes

Hello Gurus,
Came across this problem and not sure how to address it. I want to make zone changes in my MDS via the Fabric Manager and there are stale changes requesting to be activated. How do I cancel those changes so that I can only activate my changes?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

One way is to compare the running config against the startup config from the CLI. If the startup config is OK, do a "copy start run" and the startup config will overwrite any changes you'va made to the running config - be careful, though.

You may need to restart Fabric Mangler, but it should catch up OK.

In Fabric Manager when you activate your zoneset it will ask you whether or not you want to review what will be added/deleted before proceeding. If you state yes (to view the changes before committing) you'll see a list of those changes. Do not proceed at that screen but note the additions/deletions of zones. All you have to do is go to the zoneset on the left-hand side and remove those zones from the zoneset. You will also need to re-add the zones if zones were listed to be removed. You are basically undoing what the last person did.
