How to restore "Open On Page" setting for Web Parts - Sharepoint 2003

We are using an SPS2003 environment - 2 Front End Servers, 1 Index Server and a Clustered SQL Backend.

Over the weekend we had a database go offline, and one of the subsites failed to show a series of the webparts (which I understand why).  From the "Web Part Maintenance" screen, someone clicked the "RESET" link, which didn't restore the 'Open on Page' option (but I'm not sure if this created another issue with getting these parts to return as visible on the corresponding page)...

How do I get these items to "Show" on the subsite again... there isn't a "Show" button, or restore connection option.

Any thoughts?

Thank you!!

Hi,

You could manually add them back from Add Web Parts -> Advanced Web Part Gallery and options. Click on Closed Web Parts.

Not the best option, but if you do not find another one, this is working (you will have to rearrange them though).

Hope this helps,
