SBS2003 - MSSQL$sharepoint service starts then stops

After a reboot this weekend the MSSQL$sharepoint service starts then stops, but I cannot get it stable. I keep getting the following error in the event log:

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The correct solution seems to be on this link:
http://blogs.technet.com/sbs/archive/2008/07/11/cannot-access-company-web-after-installing-948110.aspx

However, I am not sure what they are expecting in step 1. Will someone please explain?

I understand, but where is the file it's asking for? I have my sbs2003 disc inserted, but I don't see any place to reisntall SQL from it.

Now that I have the companyWeb online and the MSSQL$sharepoint service started, I am unable to authenticate to the companyweb. It keeps prompting for credentials even when I put in correct credentials.
I was able to get on the configuration page through the sharepoint central administration page, but I got the following message when trying to access it:
"The virtual server that is referenced here is not in the config database."

From what I could gather, I need to extend the virtual server. When I access the central administration - > Extend an existing virtual server from the Virtual Server List page -> company web is not listed as a server. When I click on the complete list of servers and then click on companyweb it just takes me to the configuration page and not the extend page.

Please help!
