I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

it should be in the settings

Nope.

Settings gives me the following options:

Home Page
History
Forward
Refresh
View >
Tools >
Copy/Paste >
Exit

Pressing "Home page" just takes me to the default page, which is some useless Sprint thing.

Pressing "Tools" just gives me options for "Send link", "Properties", "Options", and "Print with JETCET5".

Pressing "Options" just gives me...  fuck, there it is.  I swear I've been at this for three hours now, trying to get this goddamn thing configured.  Still haven't gotten Exchange sync to work, but at least now I'm partway there.  I saw on previous versions of Windows Mobile you had to download a registry hack, or some shit like that, to change the homepage.  Goddamn phones.  :-/

There are some version that are locked out so you can not change them (easily)

I have heard of AT&T doing this so you are locked to their startup page.  Other may also do it.  If you can not find the option to change it then you need follow this :

NOTE *** ONLY DO THIS IF YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT DAMAGING YOUR PHONE AND LOOSING YOUR DATA ETC - I TAKE NO RESPOSIBILITY FOR WHAT YOU DO WITH THE INFO OR EVEN THAT IT IS CORRECT / VALID / WORKS WITH YOUR PHONE AND SETUP AND MOBILE COMPANY ***

First you need a registry editor.  Try
http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/phmregistryeditor.shtml

Install the registry editor and edit the registry key
"HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AboutURLs"
Change the home key to point to your new home page

restart IE and see where it takes you.

Enjoy
