From Symantec to Kaspersky

I currently use Symantec Antivirus in our office network of 25 clients machines (Wind XP, Vista and Win 7), two windows 2003 servers and one Windows Storage Server 2003 (64 bit).

I have had problems upgrading to new versions (Endpoint versions) of Symantec antivirus and recently had to rollback such an upgrade through much network disruptions.

I am looking to dump Symantec and move to Kaspersky antivirus, on my network. Kindly provide related comments and advise. Thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

We use Kaspersky, and it is great at protecting.  I trust it to keep my network secure alot more that I would trust Symantec.  That being said, it can be a little over protective, and deployment can be a pain.

Basically it can be alot of work to use Kaspersky, but it will keep you safe.

BTW, even if you don't go for Kaspersky, I would definately dump Symantec!
