Oulook 2007 scrambling powerpoint 2003 attachments

My firm recently upgraded to outlook 2007 due to our e-mail provider switching to exchange 2007.  All the other office products has remained 2003.  One of my user is sending an power point attachment done on power point 2003 and when the recipient receives it, its either taking the texts out or coming with black lines on the presentation.  I am not sure whether this is due to us having powerpoint is still being at 2003 and outlook being 2007, I never thought that this would create a problem, please let me know if anyone of you have any experience with this issue, thanks.

This isn't because Outlook is 2007 and PPT is 2003. However, if the recipient is using PPT 2007, it could be an issue with the printer driver they have installed. See http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00850.htm and http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00952.htm. (Those black lines could be font display issues....)

It could also be a missing font in the PPT file. Did the creator use a standard font like Arial or Times New Roman, or did they use something different -- something the recipient may not have installed?
