Removing and installing blades in a Cisco 6500 series switch.

Is the process of removing and reinstalling blades completely hot swappable for the Cisco 6500?

I plan to remove blade WS-6516A-GBIC in Slot 4 and then install blade WS-X6148-GE-TX in Slot 4.

My intention is not to do anything at the CLI and just pull the old blade and insert the new one.

Any caveats?

SUP 2
Minimum software versions

As per above I have a SUP 2 and software version of 8.5(3) right?
I know the card is supported because I already have them installed.
But isn't the website saying I need minimum 12.2?

thanks lrmoore,

Yes it should work fine but I like to know how to look things up myself.

Cisco doesn't have compatibllity charts for CATOS just IOS?
Pretty much. CatOS is being deprecated. It seems there's less and less CatOS information everyday.
