CUCM 6.0 install fails on Vmware 6

Hi there,
I've now tried installing cucm 6 on vmware workstation 6 about 3 times now and it fails..sometimes it comes up with a blank screen at the end of install and nothing happens..if i restart it, it says "installation failed" and tells me to run the setup again ... When I create the VM, i choose "Linux --> Red Had Enterprise Linux 3" ... Then on another occasion, I  chose "Other --> Other" but fails both times ... The actual installation process is very fairly simple where I enter network details (gateway being my microsoft loopback I.P) and enter all the required passwds, no to ntp, dhcp, ntp at the time of install .. The installation stops at 'Application post install' where it installs its scripts, etc ... The source ISO is 2.25 GB file (CUCM setup) which is fine but i guess its the type of VM I create or smthg in the install .. ur help wud be really appreciated ..

What size virtual drive are you using? How much memory? You need to set it up the VM with at least 76G hard drive and 2G RAM. I select "other linux" for type. CM 7.1.3 installs and works just fine with this config on Virtual Server 2.0
I have not tried it using VMWare Workstation..
