I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

you need to give more details session object to flex? or you want to share a session b/w flex and JSP?

Please not flex is a RIA, which doesn't depend on sessions :)

i have a legacy application and I need to convert to RIA using Adobe Flex. I can replace the existing html tags with appropriate Flex components. To calll the Java methods I am using Remote Object. Suppose I have objects in session like session.setAttribute("name", "username"); How do I convert to Flex? You said there are no session in Flex. Then how do I track user session in Flex?

straight migration is not possible.
hmm you are using remote objects with Blaze DS?? it will automatically take care of Flex Session, you may have to use this

Could you be specific? If i login with my credentials how flex takes care of user session ? Can I have  simple code sample
Siva Prasanna KumarPrincipal Solutions ArchitectCommented:
RIA's are suppose to be sessionless, ideally they are suppose to use http server authentication for each request.
