DELL MD3000 PARTITION SIZE LIMIT

MD3000 has 5x1Tb SAS drives
Attached to PE R300 (W2K8R2) with 2 SAS cables

With modular Disk Storage manager intslled on r300 let me create Raid5 virtual disk of 1.8TB only

I tried to create a new Virtual Disk and MDSM gives olny Raid1 option with 931Go

Basically I can no longer create Raid5 Virtual disks

I am new to this MD3000

Is there any limit for Raid 5 virtual disks ?  Also any limit for number of Raid5 LUN I can create ?

Make sure you have latest firmware.  I saw nothing in the notes that said the current array had such a size constraint.
