Scanpst - autocomplete gone

Had a problem with a pst file (outlook 2007) - it was repaired and afterwards I was able to open outlook.
Afterwards the autocomplete of names is missing. You know, when starting to type in the "to" field it automatically find possible names.

I have checked that autocomplete is turned on - also the .nk2 file is there as it should be

After repairing, the autocomplete list might have gone. Use check names (ctrl+k) to find names.

your outlook.nk2 file in your profile under application data\microsoft\outlook has been recreated.
As you send mail, it will add each recipient.  It is a pain, but it won't take long to get the people you commonly send to in there...

If you have a backup of your system or profile, copy the outlook.nk2 file back to the a fore mentioned path.
Note: outlook.nk2 is the default name, it may have a different name  with the .NK2 extension to match your outlook profile.
