update price with sql problem

Hi.

I want to update a price with sql.

The price collum in the DB is nvarchar ant the price format is: ex: 4,080000

After running this sql update, the price is:
4080011.00
I need the price to be: 4,19

update pricetable set price = cast(price as money) + '0,11'

Can anybody help?

You should replace comma with dot:

update pricetable set price = cast(REPLACE(price, ',', '.') as money) + 0.11

Try this;
update pricetable set Price = REPLACE(CONVERT(NVARCHAR, CONVERT(decimal(18, 2), REPLACE
(Price, ',', '.')) + 0.11), '.', ',')

I think it would be better to change the column to DECIMAL(18,2)
