Hello all,<br />

I have a dataset that is using SYBASE DSN connection then text. &nbsp;I have a parameter called BeginDate that is a string such as 'Dec 1 2009'. &nbsp;My text currently has that string such as:<br />

WHERE StartDate = 'Dec 1 2009' &nbsp;I need to change this to use my new parameter I have called BeginDate. &nbsp;When I went into the expression builder and selected my Parameter it placed in <br />
&nbsp;&quot;Parameters!BeginDate.Valu<wbr />e&quot;. &nbsp;<br />
<br />
This is throwing an error not liking the &quot;!&quot;. &nbsp;<br />
<br />
Any idea what I am doing wrong&gt;<br />

Hello all,

WHERE StartDate = 'Dec 1 2009'  I need to change this to use my new parameter I have called BeginDate.  When I went into the expression builder and selected my Parameter it placed in 
 "Parameters!BeginDate.Value".  

This is throwing an error not liking the "!".  

Any idea what I am doing wrong>

SSRS - simple question passing report parameter to dataset text?

SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is a server-based report generation software system from Microsoft.
