Need to Swap from BES to BES Express

I just found out about the Blackberry Enterprise Server Express option.  It appears to do all I need and it is free.  I currently use BES and have 10 user licenses.  I want to discontinue my BES installation and convert to BES express so I can offer to more than 10 users (we have several folks with Blackberry's using the OWA setup but it does not sync calendar or contacts).  I read that a BES and BES express cannot exist in the same Windows domain.  I am not going to set up another Domain.  So my question is does anyone have any instructions or advice on how to perform the swap to BES express with minimal down time for the existing Blackberry users.

I looked into this.  I'm sure there is something we don't know.  I have 4.1, but to go to 5.x it would be a lot of money.  So they have an Express release that would offer as much as 5.x for free?  I read up on it and decided against doing the installation.  There would be obvious down time that would have to be dealt with after hours.  Minimal down time would be a few hours still.
