Changing Collation: Will it affect exiting VB 6.0 application?

We are migrating SQL Server 7.0 database to SQL Server 2005. I want to change collation on database and tables. I know how to do that. I would like to know if it would affect VB 6.0 application that using migrated database as a back end.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

it can affect, yes.
if it will affect, only full regression tests can prove that.

note: if all the database, tables, columns have the same collation, there should be no problem.
the only thing you might then see is different sorting/matching results, based on the data vs collation
