Using Crystal Reports Dialog Box, Limit output type to pdf

Visual Studio 2008

I want to export my report using the Crystal Reports dialog box so the user can browse to the destination folder of their choice. However, I want the file type limited to PDF.

I know how to bypass the dialog box completely and export directly to a location as a PDF. I don't know how to only limit the dialog box to pdf file types.

I believe you have to limit the Crystal export dlls to PDF.  Look on the server for dlls like  CRXF_xxx.dll  The xxx will be the format of the export like XLS or PDF.  If you only install the PDF dlls then you should only see PDF in the dropdown options for Crystal.

This is a windows application so no server. I don't find those dlls anywhere in my project.
Not in the project but installed on the machine the application is running on.

I don't know if eliminating the dlls would work but I don't remember seeing any options during the redistributable install that would allow you to control it during the installation.  I would recommend bypassing the crystal dialog completely.
