Exchange 2010 upgrade: typical install or separately install roles on single server?

I am upgrading from Exchange 2003 to 2010. All the docs refer to installing the CAS role first, Hub Transport, then Mailbox Server. If i am migrating from and to a single server should i specify the "typical install" which install all 3 of these roles?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Correct. :) As long as you are single server.

Yes select Typical install...the docs you have read about are only when the roles are seperated.

Yes typical install will install CAS, HUB, and MBX role.
