asp.net master page ssi?

In asp we would built a header/footer files and then using ssi call that in our template files.  For example we would have header.html.  Then in our template file we would do

<!--#include virtual="/ssi/folder/header.html" -->

what is the best way to do this in asp.net?

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
