XenDesktop is compatible with both. &nbsp;That being said, XenServer is MADE to be compatible and optimized for XenDesktop. &nbsp;Add to that the fact that you would not have to buy licenses for XenServer. &nbsp;Depending on the version of XenDesktop you buy, Enterprise Essentials come with XenDesktop at no extra charge. &nbsp;Even if you use the free version of XenServer, is still has a much richer feature set than the free version of VMWare. &nbsp;XenServer is just an all-around better value.
