vSphere 4.0 VS Xenserver 6.5

Does anybody have any preference\recommendation on which Hypervisor to use for running Xendesktop?

Thank you,
Jaime,

XenDesktop is compatible with both.  That being said, XenServer is MADE to be compatible and optimized for XenDesktop.  Add to that the fact that you would not have to buy licenses for XenServer.  Depending on the version of XenDesktop you buy, Enterprise Essentials come with XenDesktop at no extra charge.  Even if you use the free version of XenServer, is still has a much richer feature set than the free version of VMWare.  XenServer is just an all-around better value.

I know the price value is better and that's why we are looking into that direction.  what about performance wise or support level from both vendors?

Thanks for your time,
Jaime.

We have Citrix coming in this afternoon for a demo.  Do you know of anyone who is looking for a job in supporting Xenserver, Xendesktop, and Xenapp?
