all programs ask what program to open with windows xp

I have a Dell with XP sp3  office computer need it back up and running by tomorrow.
I had the xpantispyware2010 infection, and removed it in safemode.

When i return to the operators profile all the file associations are gone and all programs ask what programs to open with.  .doc .exe  but also msconfig, install/uninstall programs etc.

Now other profiles everything works just fine its just the main operators profile (which of course was the one infected)  need a way to fix the associations on the operators profile asap.
