How to access Recovery Console HP Pavilion dv6000

Hello all,

I have a client that has a HP Pavilion dv6000 with Vista installed.  I see that it has a Recovery Partition.  The laptop is a mess and I'd like to recover it to factory defaults but can't figure out how to start the recovery on this system.  I tried pressing F11 and F10 but F10 is used to access Setup and F11 does nothing.  How can I access the recovery partition?  Thanks.

2 ways to do it press F11 right after bios screen (its all about timing)  or log  into vista and goto start and type recovery that should bring up the recovery manager.
