asked on

I need a FastEthernet port on my Cisco 2611 Router. Is the NM-2FE2W compatible?

So, as the question states, I want a fastethernet port for my 2611 Router.

I can always put another IOS on it, currently I have

32K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.
8192K bytes of processor board System flash (Read/Write)

and I'm running c2600-i-mz.122-7c.bin

I need to know if the network module 2FE2W is compatible... I know I have the slot for it, but on Cisco.com I think the table show it as unsupported... here...

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps274/products_tech_note09186a00800b1155.shtml

please answer asap i only have 12 hours before ebay auction ends and i need it now

are you telling me you know personally it isn't or that you're basing what you said on the link i posted already...?

i'm asking if there might be any other card, NM or WIC, that I can put into my 2611 to get a FE port... or preferably two, because the specs i posted were just for one type
