How can I hide the CRM 4.0 Outlook Add-In menu?

I've been asked if the Outlook CRM add-in menu can be hidden within outlook. The requirement is to set all client configuration centrally via the server then prevent users from accessing these settings. Can this be done and if so how do we achieve this?

I think it would be unsupported any way you try to accomplish it.

One other way we have accomplished this, also unsupported, is to write triggers in SQL.  Essentially, the users can change a setting, but the SQL server will just change it back.

What is the setting you are trying to lock down?

Can anyone confirm if this is definitely not a supported option for the Outlook CRM client? We're simply looking to hide the entire CRM menu to prevent user access.
