Integration of Avaya One-X communicator with Microsoft OCS Server 2007

We are facing issue with integrating Avaya One-X communicator with Microsoft OCS 2007. On the OCS client, we have a message mentioning there is no communication with the phone system.
The servers are configured as per the Avaya document OCS-ACM-RCC-R2.

Yes, we have confirmed that we have the updated verison of OCS 2007. Of course,  OCS 2007 R2 is available. Do you think that 2007 R2 would be necessary?

As per the Avaya documentation, OCS 2007 should work fine as well.

2007 lakes lots of feature and the integration is difficult and SIP trunking is not available, Lots of feature are added and imporoved, I would say that going 2007 R2 will solve it.
