-2 server vmware 4.0 up to date
-1 server for centerserver (not a vm)
Got this Problem This Day i try conect with vsphere client to center server but always the service will close try all i can but no idea why. so i deinstall the center server an reinstall it. now i lost the config but thats not the problem so i config all new now i want conect my host to the cluster but when i want conect one host i lost conection and the "vmware center server" service stop. this happen only when i add the one host the other is no problem.
so i have no idea whats the problem is at the moment.

Do you have licensing for both ESX hosts?

yes i see 1 key for vcenter server and 2 keys for 2 host

Are you running low on diskspace where the vCenter database is kept? It might be that your DB logs are not getting backed up causing low disk space preventing vCenter from running.
Any errors in the Windows Event log where vCenter is installed?

Sounds like there's another instance. When you uninstalled it did you uninstall the database or the SQL2005 Express instance?

ok no way i install all new but the same problem the service from "vmware center server" allways close when i add a host in sphere client. i have no idea whats the problem is.
Just curious what is stopping you from reinstall both SQL server and vCentre server on your physical box? You might have some corrupted files on your current installation.

ok now i try thy i install all new on a windows 2008 server (vm) and its the same problem so i now its not a problem with windows. the point is i got 2 host the one i can add without any problem but when i add the oter then stop the service so maye the problem it the one esx server? but what can i do?
Before you tried to add the other ESX host to your virtual center, have you deleted the vpx user account on the ESX host first?

no o dont do any thing on the esx server but how can i delete this vpx user account ? with web interface?

ok i have delete the vpx user but the same problem, service will close and in center client the host show me "not connect" when i restart the center service and try to connect host service close :-(
Can you check the last few lines in the logfile under the folder "“C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\Logs" . That will give a more detail error

dont have this "log" folder but i am export the logs from vcenter. so i am thinking about to install the esx complete new but will this help?

Add some Logs from VCenter hope this help still not work.
