exchange doesn't accept my password

Hi Guys,
When i try to connect to an exchange server via outlook 2007, it keeps on asking me for my password continuously. I supply the password, but it keeps on asking me for it again.
It happens for all the mail accounts in my company.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are you using Exchange 2007?
If so there are a few reasons why this could happen.

Check out option 1 and 3 of my article here as a first step: http://www.experts-exchange.com/articles/Software/Server_Software/Email_Servers/Exchange/Outlook-continually-prompting-for-username-and-password.html

If you find the article useful please vote for it :)

Upgrading to Exchange 2007 SP2 fixes one issue that causes this, then there is also a security update that could cause this and you may need to modify the Kernel Mode Authentication
