I'm using Firefox 3.0.19 ((FF) on a Win XP Pro, SP3 box.<br />

Many websites load flash that I don't want. &nbsp;I have solved part of the problem by using the the FF addon FlashBlock. &nbsp;Is there a way I can configure FF to prevent flash HTML from loading so I don't get the flash at all. &nbsp;See picture below. &nbsp;I would like to eliminate loading what is in the image as if it were not there at all.<br />

One solution is to setup two browsers, one with flash and one without flash. &nbsp;But can this be done in a single browser?<br />

Is it possible to prevent loading flash from certain web sites?

Web browsers are applications used primarily to display documents, files and media from the Internet, identified by a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) that can be a page, image, video or other file. Some browsers require the use of add-ons or extensions to safely render the information they receive; others have systems built into them to perform the same functions.
