Blackberry bes synching and gmail contact list

Someone please help me. THe CEO of the company has a blackberry storm (OS V5.0.0.328).

His blackberry is synching with the BES server with no issues.

He's using blackberry messenger and he wants to use the contacts from his gmail account ( The problem is he has over 100 contacts in his gmail account) but blackberry messenger only allows him to load the contacts from his outlook account. I added his gmail account to the blackberry and the contacts show up in his contact list but not in blackberry messenger. I tried doing a "restore from email" but that option doesn't list gmail only his outlook account.

Is there a way to use the contacts from his gmail account and not outlook in blackberry messager

No, Workaround is you can add the gmail address book to the outlook. And from outlook messenger will fetch the data.
