plesk panel or similar for ubuntu 9.10

I am very new to Linux but I'm jumping head first into it.  I have set up a webserver using Ubuntu 9.10 but I would like to have a browser based administration program.  I was recommended to use Plesk Panel, but it would not install citing that the OS is unsupported.

1)  Is there a way around this?
2)  If not, is there another web admin tool that is either better than Plesk or is supported by Ubuntu 9.1?

Thanks for the help!

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
