MGCP gateway and CUCM
Hi there,
I've a Cisco 2611 XM with 1 voice module (one slot for 2 FXS ports, one slot for 2 FXO ports) ... I've configured my MGCP gateway in the CUCM (config attached) .. However, the router doesn't have the following 2 commands...Do the commands for MGCP vary from router to router ?
"ccm-manager config server"
"ccm-manager config server 10.1.1.1"
... I went through a video where a guy configured the following on the router
"mgcp"
"mgcp call-agent 10.1.1.1"
dial-peer voice 1 pots
port 1/1/1
application MGCPAPP
These commands are supported on my 2611 XM. Are these commands enough to make MGCP or do I need to upgrade the IOS to support the "ccm-manager config" commands as well ? That's the first one....
Second, I've got a Cisco IP phone connected to the FXS port ... I can't get a dialtone ... Do I need to put in the normal analog phone in the FXS port ?
Attached are snapshots from my CUCM ...

Also show ccm-manager on the router will show that it has established a link to the router
Also you need to check that any domain name set on the router is matched in CUCM
